Important: This is not a school application
Completing the Parents Notify online form is not an application for a school.
Apply directly to the school(s) you wish your child to attend.
The Letter of Eligibility is an essential part of applying to schools for a special class or special school place.
Schools make their own admission decisions based on their admissions policies.
It is important to check the schools’ dates and deadlines.

What is a Letter of Eligibility?
A Letter of Eligibility confirms that your child meets the Department of Education and Youth criteria to apply for a Special Class or Special School placement.
You require this letter when applying for special class or special school places, so please keep it in a safe place.
If the criteria are not met, your SENO will write to you to explain this. The SENO is available to discuss the next steps with you.
